The fine print
- What's a token?
- A unit of AI work: every word our agents read or write. Most of it is re-used context, which costs a tenth. That's what we engineer.
- What do I pay for?
- The tokens our agents spend on each change, measured per change and shown in your dashboard next to it, with its price at your rate. The leaner we work, the further your tokens go.
- What if a change fails?
- If a change fails on our side, its tokens come back to your wallet — the issue shows how many. The factory first retries it twice on its own.
- Do I know the cost before work starts?
- The factory's Analyst rates every change before any code is written. A small change starts right away; for a bigger one you see the token estimate and confirm it first — or cancel, and the tokens it held come back.
- How long are tokens valid?
- 12 months from the day you buy them. The oldest tokens are spent first.
- Can I get my money back?
- Unused tokens can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
- Where does my app run?
- Your app runs on Google Firebase under our account. Small apps without server functions or file uploads fit Firebase's free Spark allowance (10 GB hosting, 1 GB database, 50,000 reads a day) and cost you nothing. Apps that need server functions or file storage run on the pay-as-you-go Blaze plan with the same free allowance; we pay Google and invoice you only for usage above it.
- Who owns my domain?
- We register the domain for you, in tokenwise's name unless we agree otherwise. After a year we ask whether you want to keep it and invoice the renewal only if you do.
- Is VAT added to the price?
- No. tokenwise s. r. o. is not a VAT payer, so the price you see is the price you pay. Business customers can add their company details at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; one-time, no subscription.
